Oracle EBS Functional Financials Delivery Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive Oracle EBS Financials implementations, encompassing discovery workshops, current-state evaluations, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, future-state process design, configuration, customization assessments, functional specifications, integrations, reporting, and controls.

• Develop and configure financial structures, which include enterprise structure, legal entities, ledgers and ledger sets, operating units, chart of accounts, calendars, subledger accounting, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.

• Assess business processes and convert insights into detailed financial solutions.

• Advise clients on best-practice solutions and configurations, refining them based on feedback and approval.

• Manage EBS R12.2 Financial Modules throughout the phases of requirements gathering, design, build, testing, go-live, and post-production support.

• Generate functional and design documentation that aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, Financials consultants, and offshore development teams.

• Proactively identify and address issues to ensure project timelines are met.

• Deliver functional implementation and support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environments, including troubleshooting user and system issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline is mandatory.

• 10–15 years of experience utilizing Oracle methodology, including gathering business requirements, designing business process flow diagrams, configurations, master data management, creating functional design documentation, and reviewing technical design documents.

• Experience leading a complete project workstream for relevant Oracle applications.

• Demonstrated experience across full implementation lifecycle projects, encompassing requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing support, data conversions, go-live, and post-go-live support.

• Required experience with full lifecycle implementation of Financial Modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Project Billing, Project Costing, and Cash Management).

• Familiarity with intercompany setups and configurations is essential.

• Experience collaborating with offshore teams, including the creation of functional design documents for offshore development.

• Adequate SQL skills to assist with troubleshooting tasks.

• Experience with conversion, upgrade, implementation, or enhancement projects.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and time management capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple task assignments efficiently.

• Capability to effectively engage with senior client stakeholders and colleagues across all levels.

• Ability to articulate functional and technical concepts to a diverse audience, including non-technical individuals.
