This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for managing all activities related to the administration of computerized databases.
• Project long-term requirements for database administration and design in collaboration with other managers within the information systems function.
• Design, create, and sustain databases in a client/server environment.
• Perform quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server setting to ensure accurate and appropriate data usage.
• Provide guidance to users regarding access to various client/server databases.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex databases addressing JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
• Utilize knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
• Execute database programming and support systems design.
• Maintain database dictionaries, oversee standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integrate systems through database design.
• Must hold IT-II security clearance or possess a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
• (Basic Federal Clearance requirements include U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies)
• A CURRENT U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance or higher.
• Must have one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIIH, CCSP.
• Must possess one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Administrator SQL Server, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified IT Professional Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Master SQL Server, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Oracle Certified Professional Database, Microsoft Certified Solutions Master.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: MC: Azure Security Engineer, MC: Azure Database Administrator Associate, MC: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Must have over 5 years of progressive experience with database query languages including Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
• Must possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience and expertise in Relational Database Management Systems.
• Must be capable of working on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
• Must have experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Must have hands-on experience with Tomcat.
• Must have completed two or more projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.
• Must be willing and able to work standard EST hours (9am-5pm EST).
