Oracle Cloud HCM Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a knowledgeable expert on Oracle Cloud HCM applications, offering guidance and support to the project team.

• Oversee and manage Oracle Cloud HCM implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that project goals are achieved on schedule and within budget.

• Develop and implement project plans for the deployment of Oracle Cloud software.

• Collaborate with COE Leads to determine staffing needs to support the project and make adjustments as necessary throughout the project's duration.

• Manage project risks, actions, issues, and decisions, driving the team towards completion.

• Create risk mitigation strategies and implement these plans to reduce potential project risks.

• Lead and manage one or multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables based on the Statement of Work (SOW). Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, resource allocation, and key dependencies.

• Maintain and oversee a Project Budget Tracker/Burn Sheet to ensure the budget remains within allocated limits.

• Assemble project teams, delegate tasks, and manage resources while encouraging collaboration and communication among team members.

• Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies, monitoring and managing these risks throughout the project's lifecycle.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and achievements.

• Ensure that project deliverables adhere to the necessary quality standards by implementing quality control processes.

• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, emphasizing key milestones, issues, and risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.

• Must possess a thorough understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM applications, including Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Time & Labor modules implementation methodology along with the typical challenges faced by clients and implementation teams.

• Hands-on experience managing the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud implementations.

• Experience directing project activities for a team of consultants and other implementation specialists who collaborate with the client organization during Oracle Cloud implementation.

• Self-driven with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning to stay updated on trends and Oracle Cloud releases.

• Proven track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.

• Preferred experience in software development, IT, or technology-related projects.

• Experience in assessing project risks and developing mitigation strategies.

• Experience in conducting quality reviews and implementing corrective actions.

• Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, etc.

• Previous experience in software implementation consulting with Oracle HCM applications.
