
Oracle Cloud HCM Assessment Consultant – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist with HCM cloud activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct a thorough review of the Oracle Cloud HCM system, focusing on Core HR, Payroll (primary emphasis), Benefits (primary emphasis), Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Security.
• Analyze system configuration in relation to Oracle's best practices and industry standards.
• Evaluate payroll and benefits workflows within the HCM system by scrutinizing processes and known issues to uncover opportunities for enhanced accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Help maintain stakeholder alignment and engagement for initiatives related to HCM.
• Collaborate with various departments to pinpoint challenges and implement process enhancements, system upgrades, and efficiencies within the HCM platform.
• Perform in-depth assessments of Payroll setup, processing, and controls, including earnings, deductions, tax configurations, and compliance.
• Review payroll reconciliation processes and audit controls.
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of Benefits plan design, eligibility criteria, enrollment procedures, and multiple integrations.
• Evaluate the accuracy of benefits administration and its integration with payroll.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and overall discrepancies between system capabilities and business needs.
• Explore automation possibilities to reduce or eliminate manual workarounds.
• Assess data integrity, reporting capabilities, and data governance practices.
• Review inbound and outbound integrations (e.g., vendors, GL, benefits carriers).
• Evaluate system performance and data flows.
• Assess the utilization of Fast Formulas, HDL, HCM Extracts, and reporting tools.
• Analyze metrics and reporting to facilitate process improvements and system optimization.
• Conduct interviews and workshops with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT stakeholders.
• Collect feedback on system usability and challenges.
• Provide expert knowledge and guidance on best practices.
• A minimum of ten years of experience directly working with Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Experience in supporting HCM or HR-related projects with substantial hands-on expertise in Payroll and Benefits.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting system assessments, audits, or health checks.
• Experience with complete HCM lifecycle implementations and/or post-go-live optimization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• Oracle Cloud certifications (HCM, Payroll, Benefits).
• Experience in multi-state or complex payroll environments.
• Previous consulting experience with system optimization projects.
