Oracle Cloud Financials Delivery Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee mid- to large-scale and intricate consulting projects concurrently.

• Facilitate Oracle SaaS requirements workshops and lead solution architecture and design discussions throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Utilize expertise in Oracle Cloud Applications and industry best practices to provide clients with cost-effective solutions.

• Direct implementation teams in developing comprehensive technical and functional Enterprise Cloud solutions.

• Create PaaS extensions, draft specifications for custom applications, and integrate them with Oracle Cloud Applications.

• Evaluate existing systems and data to determine requirements and necessary enhancements.

• Lead, mentor, train, and support Oracle Cloud applications teams.

• Align enterprise requirements with various Oracle SaaS applications.

• Tackle product implementation and integration challenges using innovative and creative strategies.

• Formulate and execute long-term strategies for client engagement.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating project updates, challenges, and modifications.

• Involve stakeholders in the estimation processes.

• Assist business partners in showcasing the value of solutions to key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements.

• Present business cases and quantify the benefits of proposed solutions.

• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and recommend updates, upgrades, or modifications.

• Contribute to the growth and development of the consulting practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.

• MBA, relevant master's degree, or PhD.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional consultant.

• At least 3 years of experience in solution design for ERP cloud implementations.

• Expert-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect involved in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades.

• Familiarity with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), including Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service.

• Knowledge and experience with Web Services, including SOAP and REST.

• Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analyses, designing business processes, managing CRPs, functional configuration, and ERP solution testing.

• Experience working with diverse teams and projects across borders.

• Understanding of corporate month-end close, consolidation, planning, or forecast management reporting requirements.

• Expert-level experience with one or more Oracle Cloud Applications: Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud, Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud, Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, or Oracle EPM Cloud.

• Experience in guiding clients through business process enhancements.

• Background in accounting, including chart of accounts redesign, financial reporting, MultiOrg, and multi-currency.

• Ability to write functional specifications based on user requirements.

• Capacity to manage client expectations independently.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Consulting experience in a similar capacity within a professional services firm or strategic-level industry experience.

• Previous experience working in IT companies.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and systems.

• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

• Exceptional skills in managing complex projects.

• Business development and client acquisition abilities.

• Capability to mentor and coach junior and mid-level consultants.

• Ability to effectively interact with senior client executives.
