Ophthalmology Medical Billing & AR Virtual Assistant – Athena EMR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage insurance claims, denial resolutions, and Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures.

• Conduct follow-ups on unpaid, rejected, or denied claims with insurance companies.

• Utilize Athena EMR/EHR for overseeing billing operations and maintaining patient records.

• Ensure accurate billing documentation and keep records current.

• Liaise with insurance firms regarding the status of claims and reimbursement concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in managing insurance claims, denials, and AR in a comprehensive ophthalmology setting.

• Proficient in using Athena EMR/EHR.

• Solid understanding of medical billing procedures and insurance follow-up processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
