• Represent the complete Regeneron ophthalmology product portfolio.
• Establish connections with key business decision-makers and pertinent Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Lead discussions and educate customers regarding contracts and partnership opportunities.
• Operate independently while collaborating closely with the ED Ophthalmology Accounts.
• Oversee provider contracts and relay feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Enhance customer engagement, reach, and frequency for GPO contracts.
• Work in conjunction with internal teams to develop effective account plans and educational initiatives.
• Interact with customers at regional and national retinal meetings.
• Allocate 75% of time to customer-facing activities, prioritizing in-person meetings.
• 10-12 years of progressive industry or relevant professional experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related fields.
• Additional broad-based experience in sales operations, corporate partnerships, marketing, and/or sales management, as well as supply chain management is valued.
• Past experience in the launch of new Specialty Pharmaceutical/Biologics products or indications.
• Established knowledge and relationships with key executive-level decision-makers from retina and other market GPOs and institutional trade partners.
• Previous experience in retina account management or brand development.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and influence both peers and management.
• Strong communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and content development.
• Demonstrated results-oriented mindset.
• Proven strategic planning skills, encompassing event planning and meeting facilitation.
• Understanding of financial concepts and contracting issues, with the ability to assess contract performance.
• Demonstrated skills in managing outsourced vendors.
• Willingness to travel 50-75%, including weekends as needed.
