Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles, facilities, and performing cleaning tasks.

• Expected to handle various duties related to operating vacuum trucks/tankers and roll-off trucks.

• Provide assistance with the excavation and/or manual excavation of contaminated soils.

• Carry out a range of manual tasks, such as operating both manual and mechanical clearing equipment, filling and placing sandbags, and covering storage cells with tarps.

• Perform tank cleaning, truck washouts, high-pressure power washing, and additional tasks as needed.

• Complete assignments based on detailed written and oral instructions.

• Help assemble shoring systems for excavation purposes.

• Conduct vehicle and facility maintenance and cleaning.

• Exhibit a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

• Participate in daily safety meetings to identify specific compliance needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Reliable transportation to and from work is necessary.

• Must successfully pass all required training, DMV check, background check, and drug and alcohol tests.

• A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is preferred.

• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.

• Experience with behavior-based safety programs (e.g., LPS) is preferred.

• At least 1 year of construction experience is preferred.

• 40-hour Hazwoper training is preferred.
