This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Supervising and managing daily business operations to guarantee efficiency, quality, accuracy, customer service, and cost-effectiveness.
• Assisting in the management of underwriting operations and policy execution.
• Creating, implementing, and enhancing operational policies, procedures, and workflows for the Public Auto Department.
• Overseeing the Policy Services Department, which handles all policy-related functions.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external company policies, carrier underwriting authority, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining operational quality controls.
• Bachelor's degree or a relevant insurance designation.
• Five years of experience in underwriting and marketing new accounts.
• Must hold a license in the relevant areas of insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, along with the ability to communicate and influence at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear and consistent leadership to staff.
• Focus on developing a robust and profitable branch office.
• Ability to comprehend and analyze essential components of insurance policies.
• Capacity to understand client needs and knowledge of associated risk profiles.
• Awareness of emerging trends and developments in the insurance industry, with the ability to integrate these insights into strategic planning.
• Skills in preparing submissions for markets and obtaining quotes.
• Capability to develop, nurture, and sustain excellent working relationships with agencies.
• Must maintain up-to-date knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to maintain a travel schedule based on the needs of clients, agents, and new business opportunities.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
