Operations Systems Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver Tier 1 assistance for operational systems, which include Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, Funnel, and other supported applications.

• Resolve daily system issues and address user inquiries promptly.

• Aid in system configuration modifications as required.

• Facilitate data imports and exports between Yardi Voyager and integrated systems.

• Address report requests and troubleshoot any reporting challenges.

• Escalate intricate issues when necessary and ensure they are resolved.

• Monitor support requests and relay updates to internal teams.

• Act as a primary liaison with Yardi and third-party software vendors regarding support tickets and issue resolution.

• Submit, oversee, and follow up on vendor support inquiries.

• Foster strong vendor relationships to ensure timely responses and issue resolutions.

• Assist with system upgrades, updates, and release testing processes.

• Help guarantee that integrations between systems are operating as intended.

• Report persistent issues and assist in identifying long-term resolutions.

• Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to operational systems.

• Create and revise user guides and support documentation.

• Aid in onboarding and training new users of the system.

• Review and update documentation to maintain its accuracy over time.

• Acquire knowledge of how operational teams utilize systems in their daily workflows.

• Identify chances to enhance user experience and system processes.

• Communicate feedback from users and recurring support patterns with internal teams.

• Keep updated on system enhancements and updates for supported platforms.

• Assist with testing and user acceptance activities for system modifications and updates.

• Support operational teams in adapting to system changes and updates.

• Contribute to business initiatives by consistently exploring AI products and implementing them throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be accepted.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting ERP, property management, or other essential software systems.

• Preferred experience in supporting Yardi Voyager or similar property management software.

• Preferred background in property management, multifamily housing, or affordable housing sectors.

• Capability to train and assist users with diverse levels of technical proficiency.

• Technical Competencies

• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager (preferred) or similar ERP/property management systems.

• Preferred knowledge of RentCafe, CRM Systems, or other relevant property management technology platforms.

• Proficient in system troubleshooting and managing support tickets.

• Basic understanding of system integrations and data flows between platforms.

• Experience in report support and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with supporting software upgrades, testing, and system updates.

• Ability to create and maintain system documentation and user manuals.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
