Operations Specialist – Mutual Funds

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Offer support and assistance to correspondents concerning daily requests and inquiries related to mutual funds.

• Ensure that customer inquiries are addressed and resolved following service level agreement guidelines.

• Review and complete daily supervisory oversight, providing updates to senior staff and management.

• Guarantee that mutual fund trades are executed within established processing deadlines.

• Execute and manage mutual fund transactions, including purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and transfers.

• Reconcile mutual fund accounts daily to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and settled.

• Ensure compliance of all operations with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

• Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and documentation for audits and examinations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the financial sector, ideally in roles related to securities processing, brokerage operations, broker-dealer operations, equity trade lifecycle, or new accounts.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required.

• FINRA SIE and FINRA Series 99 certifications are required (or a willingness to obtain them within 90 days of employment; Series 7 is preferred).

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to tailor messaging based on the audience.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent data gathering and analytical skills, utilizing reports, spreadsheets, web-based applications, and other software tools (SQL, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace).

• Strong knowledge of or experience in Core Brokerage Operations functions.
