Operations Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Offer operational support across various functional areas, including Property Operations, the Utility Rate Team (URT), and Activity.

• Manage and audit a range of property and resident-related service requests.

• Ensure that transactions are executed accurately and within defined service level agreements (SLAs).

• Communicate with utility providers as needed to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and enhance billing accuracy.

• Work collaboratively with Account Managers and internal teams to expedite issue resolution and meet client requirements.

• Engage in cross-training initiatives and contribute to process improvement efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or a comparable combination of education and relevant work experience is preferred.

• At least two (2) years of experience in an operational, billing, accounting, analytical, or data-centric environment.

• Preferred experience in handling high-volume transaction processing.

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent abilities in data entry and data validation.

• Demonstrated eagerness to utilize emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to pinpoint process enhancement opportunities.

• Proven capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.

• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate across departments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
