This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Aid in the identification, validation, and execution of mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, ensuring precision and timely completion across client accounts.
• Distribute notifications regarding corporate actions to internal stakeholders and clients, while addressing inquiries related to upcoming or ongoing events.
• Assist in the daily reconciliation of corporate action positions and entitlements against custodian and depository records to maintain data accuracy.
• Gather and submit client elections for voluntary corporate actions (such as rights offerings, tender offers, exchange offers) within the required timeframes.
• Support the calculation and verification of cash and stock entitlements resulting from corporate action events.
• Comply with all pertinent regulatory requirements and internal policies; assist with audit and regulatory inquiries as necessary.
• Recognize and escalate discrepancies, missing elections, or processing errors promptly to minimize risk and financial exposure.
• Prepare and sustain reports on corporate action events, processing status, and outstanding items for review by senior team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in financial services; internship experience in operations, corporate actions, or securities processing is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of financial markets and common types of securities (equities, fixed income, mutual funds).
• Familiarity with the corporate actions lifecycle is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Experience or coursework in securities operations, brokerage back-office, or financial services operations.
• Exposure to financial data platforms, such as Bloomberg or Reuters.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL or data tools is a plus.
• Interest in or pursuit of professional certifications like FINRA Series 99, CFA, or similar designations.
