This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and carry out system-related daily responsibilities with minimal supervision, adhering to documented procedures and policies within established service standards.
• Execute daily production tasks while fulfilling quality and quantity expectations.
• Generate daily evidence and documentation to confirm completed work.
• Review evidence and documentation prepared by junior team members.
• Notify the Manager or Team Lead of production issues, pending items, and stale items.
• Independently resolve issues and report on outcomes.
• Lead regularly scheduled team tasks and coordinate team members to ensure task completion and documentation.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Anticipate and prioritize the evolving work demands within the team.
• Identify processing challenges and opportunities for control enhancements.
• Collaborate with the manager and colleagues to optimize processes.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Associate's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting transactions and problem-solving techniques.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capability to read and interpret procedure manuals and technical guidelines.
• Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective oral communication skills with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-life situations.
• Skill in solving practical problems with limited standardization.
• Proficient in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to develop advanced Schwab Retirement Technologies software skills through internal training within a reasonable timeframe.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to remain stationary for 75% or more of the time.
• Capability to lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
