This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and execute daily system-related tasks with minimal supervision, adhering to established procedures and policies while meeting service standards for both volume and quality.
• Engage in daily production activities as a member of an operational team.
• Generate daily evidence and documentation of completed tasks.
• Review evidence and documentation prepared by junior team members.
• Communicate production challenges, pending items, and outdated items to the Manager/Team Lead, independently resolving issues when appropriate, and providing feedback.
• Facilitate regularly scheduled team tasks and coordinate with team members to ensure the completion of necessary work and documentation.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Anticipate and prioritize shifting work demands in collaboration with the team.
• Identify processing challenges and opportunities for control enhancements.
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to refine processes.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• An associate's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting transactions and issue resolution.
• Capacity to lead and mentor junior team members.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting procedure manuals and technical documentation.
• Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Competence in applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios.
• Skill in addressing practical problems that involve limited standardization.
• Ability to understand written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to develop advanced skills in Schwab Retirement Technologies software through internal training within a reasonable timeframe.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and/or external customers.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
