This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide support and service for BMO’s Investment Operations business stakeholders and customers.

• Implement Investment product and service processes in alignment with financial and regulatory controls and operational guidelines.

• Collect and format data into both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.

• Assist in the execution and sustainability of change management activities.

• Organize work-related information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Carry out service requests, transactions, queries, and other routine tasks within established SLAs.

• Process transactions, activities, and services in an accurate and timely manner.

• Respond effectively to inquiries and requests from both internal and external stakeholders.

• Adhere to documented policies and procedures for daily operations.

• Verify and reconcile information and documentation.

• Analyze data and information to offer insights and recommendations.

• Identify, analyze, resolve, or escalate issues and challenges as necessary.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop and nurture stakeholder relationships.

• Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks.

• Collaborate on the development of new processes, systems, and improvements.

• Support the creation of tools and the delivery of training.

• Manage complex and diverse tasks and address escalations.

• Analyze issues and determine the appropriate next steps.

• Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework to make informed risk decisions that protect assets and comply with policies, laws, and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires 2–3 years of relevant experience.

• A post-secondary degree in a related field is desirable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology.

• Good understanding of business-unit products, services, processes, and controls.

• Familiarity with business risk and regulatory requirements.

• Effective prioritization skills.

• Strong customer service abilities.

• Proficient PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Specialized knowledge in relevant areas.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to operate within applicable policies, laws, regulations, risk controls, and SLAs.
