This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Works in collaboration with clients and Implementation Managers to deliver clinical expertise, offering insights on drug expenditure and usage, clinical management strategies, medication alternatives, and formulary compliance for new groups.
• Acts as a clinical subject matter expert to assist the Plan Operations team in their activities.
• Serves as a clinical liaison between the Plan Operations team and other internal teams at SmithRx.
• Understands and effectively articulates the value proposition of formulary and clinical programs to both clients and internal teams.
• Facilitates communication regarding formulary changes and program updates for both internal and external partners.
• Suggests clinical programs for new clients aimed at generating cost savings for clients and their members.
• Remains informed about market trends and provides clinical market intelligence to clients and internal team members.
• Shares drug information with clients and addresses plan-specific clinical inquiries.
• Develops and revises clinical marketing materials to support go-live initiatives for new groups.
• Evaluates data and interprets drug benefit designs, clearly articulating analytical and reporting requirements to supporting departments.
• Advanced Degree in Pharmacy, RPh or Pharm D.
• Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license (valid in any state).
• Over 3 years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist.
• More than 2 years of experience with healthcare benefits, account management, pharmacy benefits, pharmacy plan designs, or commercial health insurance preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing role with external clients (beyond patients and prescribers) required.
• Exceptional executive-level communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver formal presentations, along with strong interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to enhancing the customer experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Dedicated to collaboratively solving complex problems with the broader team.
• Capable of working independently as well as being part of an extended, cross-functional team.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, possessing a positive outlook.
