Operations Manager – Industrial Steam Turbine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for managing all activities related to assigned customers, from the preparation of outage bids to the conclusion of contracts.

• Collaborate with the commercial team to comprehend and assess contractual terms and conditions.

• Oversee all services rendered by other MD&A divisions for assigned clients.

• Work in close partnership with the on-site project team to ensure quality, safety, financial performance, and exceed customer expectations.

• Coordinate with labor providers to guarantee appropriate staffing for projects.

• Liaise with various subcontractors to ensure that the scope, pricing, and execution of work align with customer requirements.

• Manage additional work authorizations as needed.

• Supervise field service personnel.

• Oversee the overall project schedule from the proposal phase through the execution of the work.

• Drive productivity and efficiency to ensure that project objectives are achieved.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering preferred).

• Comprehensive knowledge of turbine technology gained through 5-10 years of experience in steam turbine disassembly and inspection techniques.

• Experience as a Steam Turbine Field Engineer is highly advantageous.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Proficient in current PC software, particularly MS Office.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Experience directing craft labor.

• Willingness to travel, including some international assignments.
