Operations Manager – Finance & Accounting Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of current workflows involving individuals, tools, transitions, deadlines, and obstacles.

• Create and execute streamlined operational patterns, including weekly priorities, check-ins, escalation pathways, follow-up systems, and delivery monitoring.

• Standardize service delivery processes encompassing intake, execution, review, and client delivery.

• Generate SOPs, checklists, templates, dashboards, and internal documentation to minimize rework and enhance execution consistency.

• Enhance client onboarding and ongoing interactions to ensure delivery feels proactive, well-organized, and dependable.

• Collaborate closely with the founder and functional leaders to prioritize tasks, remove obstacles, and drive execution forward.

• Leverage AI tools for drafting, summarizing, analyzing, documenting, automating, and improving the efficiency of internal workflows.

• Address cross-functional needs when necessary, including operations, support, sales, marketing, process/product improvements, and internal coordination.

• Assist the company in scaling effectively without relying on the founder's extensive efforts or unstructured coordination.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in startups — ideally as a founder, startup operator, early-stage operator, operations leader, Head of Operations, General Manager, or similar roles that have contributed to scaling a rapidly evolving business.

• A strong inclination towards building and executing rather than merely advising or strategizing.

• Proven ability to transform chaotic workflows into repeatable systems, SOPs, dashboards, operational rhythms, workflow enhancements, and accountability frameworks.

• Solid exposure to accounting operations, finance operations, tax, or professional services.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with an emphasis on clear asynchronous communication.

• High level of ownership, strong follow-through, and a modest approach — you identify issues and take the initiative to resolve them.

• Strong judgment and the capability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.

• Comfort in working directly with founders or senior leaders in a lean organizational structure.

• Proficiency in AI tools — you actively utilize AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar to enhance speed, quality, and efficiency in your work.
