Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Implement quality initiatives across operational processes to foster continuous improvement.

• Oversee the operations of the records center/vault and manage delivery services.

• Ensure adequate staffing levels and meet operational performance goals.

• Recruit new hires, train both new and existing staff, enforce company policies, and maintain staffing requirements.

• Collaborate with the Area Vice President and Director of Operations to enhance the Company's quality program.

• Manage budgets, provide reports, and take corrective measures to uphold fiscal responsibility.

• Ensure facilities are clean and efficient, including the upkeep of vehicles and equipment.

• Regulate rack-space utilization and assess the need for additional racks.

• Oversee daily operations of the records center/vault, audit documentation, and manage and reconcile vault inventories.

• Conduct and supervise bay audits.

• Deliver courteous and professional customer service both in person and via phone.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred 3–5 years of supervisory experience.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in applying quality concepts and practices within a service-oriented work environment.

• Detail-oriented approach to work.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Readiness to take ownership of daily operations, possess a cell phone, cover any shift, and respond to emergencies.

• Willingness and capacity to perform physical tasks when needed.

• Commitment to leadership in a disaster-recovery context and servicing both internal and external clients.

• Ability to withstand summer heat and winter cold.

• Capability to stand and walk regularly; occasionally sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• Ability to reach, handle, carry, and lift weights between 10–50 lbs.

• Proficient in communicating, hearing, reading, and accurately identifying numbers.

• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and pass a background check.

• High school diploma required.

• Forklift certification is necessary.

• Must successfully pass a drug screening.
