This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Act as the primary operational liaison between the organization and the Federal Government's Program Management Office (PMO) for a significant government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC / IDIQ).
• Proactively oversee federal portals for incoming Requests for Quotes (RFQs), manage order responses, and address day-to-day program inquiries.
• Implement line-item modifications (CLIN additions) through Technology Refreshment (TR) requests.
• Assist in the preparation of mandatory agency financial reports, deliver dedicated customer support services to vehicle users, and compile essential Contract Data Requirements.
• Manage intricate audit and financial statement risks associated with the growing US Federal division.
• Establish stringent operational safeguards to ensure that documented project milestones and deliverables are in strict accordance with active corporate billings.
• Address visibility gaps created by multi-tiered invoicing structures.
• Proactively lead the resolution and thorough investigation of existing transaction variances across multiple individual project sub-ledgers.
• Serve as a vital financial advisor to Portfolio Delivery Leaders (PDLs) to enhance project revenue plans, control pricing, and maintain P&L stability.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Federal Financial Management, Contract Administration, or Business Operations within the US Public Sector.
• US Citizenship is mandatory, along with the eligibility and readiness to undergo a federal background investigation to secure a security clearance.
• Practical experience working directly with Federal PMOs, monitoring procurement portals, responding to RFQs, and managing contract deliverables/modifications (CLINs/TRs).
• Extensive hands-on experience dealing with complex federal contract vehicles, billing structures, and intercompany cash application cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to untangle complicated ledger data, investigate intricate financial variances, and reconcile high-volume lump-sum payments without clear remittance advice.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM financial architecture and the capability to create manual offline validation frameworks when system blind spots arise.
