Operations Finance Manager – Supply Chain, Inventory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In the role of Operations Finance Manager (all genders) at Glow25, you will establish a contemporary controlling function for our supply chain while serving as a business partner to the Operations Management team.

• You will be accountable for inventory valuation and will continuously enhance inventory controlling processes.

• Your role will involve creating transparency regarding stock levels, goods movements, and their financial implications.

• You will analyze essential supply chain and operational KPIs, including inventory, COGS, logistics expenses, and forecast accuracy.

• Acting as a business partner for Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement, you will provide a financial perspective on operational decisions.

• You will assist in budget planning, forecasting, and operational financial strategy.

• Your responsibilities will include constructing dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPIs while consistently seeking improvements.

• You will prepare business cases for operational decisions related to suppliers, logistics configurations, or inventory strategies.

• You will pinpoint opportunities for cost and working capital optimization throughout the entire value chain.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related discipline.

• You have experience in controlling, operations finance, supply chain analytics, or consulting.

• Having initial exposure to inventory, cost structures, or operational KPIs is highly advantageous.

• You think analytically, approach work in a data-driven manner, and can clearly present complex relationships.

• You work in a structured and independent way, maintaining an overview even in dynamic environments.

• You have excellent proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and are comfortable working with numerical data.

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus, or you are eager to learn them swiftly.

• Ideally, you have prior experience with ERP or financial systems.

• You have a strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and the development of meaningful KPIs.
