This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Respond to incoming calls from clients, families, and caregivers across all three service lines of Tandem.
• Professionally triage calls, accurately document updates, and direct follow-up to the appropriate team member.
• Provide reactive schedule support in the afternoons, handling caregiver call-outs, same-day alterations, and next-day modifications.
• Process schedule requests from families needing to add, rearrange, or modify care visits.
• Assist the scheduling team with schedule mechanics when necessary.
• Return and address voicemails received during your shift.
• Review caregiver visit notes for completeness, professionalism, and any apparent safety issues.
• Elevate urgent client or caregiver concerns to the relevant manager.
• Monitor caregiver engagement indicators, such as visit note completion, application usage, and responsiveness.
• Help identify trends that may signal caregiver reliability or retention challenges.
• Carry out recurring operational tasks, including payroll audits, billing audits, reimbursements, long-term care insurance submissions, and holiday billing support.
• Aid in caregiver recognition efforts for birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, and follow-ups after challenging visits.
• Maintain precise documentation of all interactions with clients and caregivers.
• Provide an end-of-shift summary to inform the morning team about completed tasks, pending items, and priority needs for the next day.
• Work closely with Operations, Care Coordination, Scheduling, Recruiting, and Care Management teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Over 2 years of experience in home care operations, scheduling, care coordination, client services, or a similar role within a licensed home care agency.
• Direct experience communicating with caregivers and clients in a dynamic care environment.
• Preferred experience with schedule modifications, call-outs, client requests, or caregiver support.
• Comfortable with remote work while remaining highly responsive and organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and frequently switch contexts.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
