Operations Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Recruit, onboard, and assist temporary site workforce members.

• Relay daily and weekly work schedules, briefs, and important updates to crew members.

• Maintain consistent communication with crew, foremen, clients, and operations managers.

• Organize logistics, including flights, ferries, accommodation, and site arrangements.

• Monitor daily live check-ins via the company app or crew portal.

• Ensure CRM records, worker details, schedules, and administrative information are always up to date.

• Prepare reports, data updates, general correspondence, and operational documentation.

• Facilitate worker progression, reviews, assessments, and retention initiatives.

• Coordinate crew movements and manage day-to-day workforce planning.

• Process worker hours, timesheets, invoices, and payroll information through the CRM.

• Assist with lead generation, account management, and project coordination.

• Provide operational cover during weekends and out-of-hours when necessary.

• Uphold a high standard of service delivery for both clients and crew members.


⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally possess 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following positions: Temporary Recruiter, Temporary Resourcer, Labour Manager, Shift Planner, Staff Coordinator, Administrator, Tour Manager, Planner, Booker, Scheduler.

• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to speak on the phone and write professionally in English.

• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

• A proactive, energetic, and positive demeanor.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and logical reasoning.

• Confidence in managing fast-moving priorities and last-minute changes.

• Ability to remain composed when dealing with operational pressure or conflict.

• Comfortable collaborating with multinational teams, workers, and clients.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.

• Experience in events, staffing, recruitment, logistics, or workforce planning is highly beneficial.

• Must have access to a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet professional workspace.

• Flexibility to support UK operating hours, including early starts, weekend coverage, and occasional out-of-hours needs.
