This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee ASL interpreting and CART captioning requests from the initial intake to final completion.
• Arrange for interpreters and captioners for various meetings, conferences, training sessions, and intricate events across the nation.
• Manage a nationwide network of independent contractors, handling assignment placements, availability, and continuous communication.
• Foster relationships with clients, interpreters, captioners, and contractors.
• Address scheduling conflicts, urgent requests, cancellations, and coverage requirements.
• Recruit, onboard, and provide support to independent contractors.
• Monitor service quality to ensure that assignments are completed accurately and punctually.
• Enhance workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in workforce planning and resource coordination across various regions.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize operations and provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Assist with scheduling, billing, invoicing, and payment coordination.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in operations, scheduling, workforce coordination, customer success, client services, project coordination, event coordination, recruiting, or a similar field.
• Strong leadership qualities with the initiative to advance into a Team Lead position.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating with customers, vendors, contractors, or service providers.
• Proficient in learning CRM platforms, scheduling software, and business technologies.
• Highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Takes initiative, adapts swiftly, and independently identifies solutions.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet suitable for video conferences.
• A dedicated and professional home workspace.
• Capability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team and participating in video meetings.
• Preferred: experience in interpreting services, accessibility services, staffing, workforce management, healthcare, education, or event coordination.
• Preferred: experience in managing remote contractors or distributed teams.
• Experience as an ASL interpreter or interpreting coordinator is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities or best practices for accessibility.
