This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Establish connections and integrate shop floor machinery, PLCs, and sensors within diverse industrial settings utilizing Litmus and associated IIoT platforms.
• Configure and oversee industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, and other pertinent standards.
• Execute data mapping, normalization, and tagging to create structured and contextualized industrial data models (including asset hierarchies and tag structures).
• Deploy, configure, and sustain Litmus Edge and Litmus Edge Manager in both Proof of Concept and production settings.
• Prepare and deliver clean, reliable data streams for downstream analytics and enterprise execution layers (for example, Databricks, Oracle Smart Operations).
• Identify and resolve issues related to connectivity, data quality, and system performance in real-time industrial environments.
• Conduct initial data quality assessments to ensure the reliability and usability of data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with operators, maintenance engineers, and supervisors to comprehend real-world shop floor operations and devise practical solutions.
• Assist in condition-based and predictive maintenance use cases from the initial data capture phase through to implementation.
• Document implementations, configurations, and best practices to guarantee that client teams can maintain solutions after deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of PLCs, industrial control systems, sensors, and shop floor operations.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (such as OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT).
• Basic programming or scripting skills (in languages like Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate both OT and IT environments.
• Excellent communication abilities to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and work within plant environments.
