This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create, document, and sustain a detailed repository of Spreetail EU Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that encompass all essential warehouse workflows, including inbound, outbound, returns, and inventory management.
• Perform regular, organized audits at each Fulfillment Center (FC) location to evaluate SOP adherence, generating thorough findings reports and actionable follow-up strategies to ensure processes are effectively integrated.
• Spearhead continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives throughout the EU network employing structured methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Lean) to enhance labor efficiency, optimize space utilization, and minimize process waste.
• Oversee the design and governance of inventory control and quality assurance (ICQA) programs, which include cycle counts, wall-to-wall counts, and in-depth investigations into inventory discrepancies.
• Establish, audit, and report on a comprehensive KPI framework for operational performance across all EU sites, assisting local managers with root cause analysis and focused improvement plans.
• Work collaboratively with 3PL partners, Technology, and Transportation teams to synchronize processes, implement system enhancements (Linnworks), and facilitate new facility launches.
• Create training materials and lead on-site process training sessions during SOP implementations to enhance capabilities among FC Managers, 3PL supervisors, and warehouse personnel.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, or supply chain, ideally within a 3PL, multi-site, or cross-country distribution center environment.
• Proven expertise in process design, SOP documentation, and operational auditing, with a strong ability to write clear, practical instructions that are accessible to warehouse floor teams.
• A demonstrated history of executing continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, or 5S (Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of core warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, returns, VAS) and considerable experience in managing inventory control and cycle counting programs.
• Skilled in WMS platforms (Linnworks is highly preferred) along with a robust analytical mindset to utilize operational data, create dashboards, and convert data into actionable insights.
• Exceptionally organized with outstanding communication and influencing abilities, capable of driving change among external partners and central stakeholders without direct line authority.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is advantageous for the Germany-based role, and additional European languages are a plus.
