Operational Excellence Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the production system development throughout the complete value stream at your designated site or campaigns.

• Establish and maintain a tiered daily management system ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 4.

• Manage and oversee the kaizen funnel for your value stream.

• Link operational performance to the outcomes prioritized by the divisions.

• Utilize MES, electronic batch records, shop-floor data systems, and analytics when available.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, chemical or biochemical engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in a GMP or similarly regulated/complex production environment, with direct, hands-on responsibility for process performance across the Make value stream.

• Significant expertise in microbial fermentation and downstream recovery and purification processes.

• Proven, hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining a production or business operating system in a line role.

• A history of achieving measurable and sustained business results through transformative efforts.
