This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Operations Leadership in managing daily operations and project oversight effectively.
• Accountable for the supervision and execution of operational initiatives, both internal and cross-functional.
• Act as the intermediary between the operations department and external partners as necessary, ensuring timely communication of relevant information to the leadership team.
• Directly lead and manage team members, offering guidance, coaching, and support to align with operational goals and nurture a culture of excellence.
• Evaluate and enhance all internal processes, communicating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to all stakeholders quarterly.
• Proactively recognize and address operational risks by implementing corrective action plans while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Oversee and report on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metrics.
• Manage carrier network performance, including service level monitoring, cost management, delivery Service Level Agreements (SLAs), exception management, and collaboration on carrier optimization initiatives with 3PLs and transportation providers.
• Support retail operations and fulfillment execution, possessing a strong understanding of EDI process flows (e.g., PO receipt, ASN creation, invoicing), and work cross-functionally to ensure accurate inventory flow, compliant order processing, and service level alignment across wholesale and retail channels.
• Drive analytics and insights throughout operations, utilizing data to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing setting, ideally in the Nutraceutical, Wellness, or CPG sectors; experience in startup/high-growth environments is advantageous, with brand experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of managerial experience, encompassing hiring, coaching, and mentoring.
• Experience with Operational Management Systems and 3PL is essential.
• Familiarity with the eCommerce business model and proficiency in Magento, Skubana, and Salesforce, or similar ERP and CRM systems.
• Strong skills in organization, time management, communication, process orientation, and problem-solving.
• Required travel for on-site audits and 3PL visits, both in-state and out-of-state (one to two times annually).
• A flexible attitude capable of accommodating potential weekend and late-night coverage needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills to coordinate project activities.
• Experience in analyzing and documenting functional requirements for eCommerce projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and adapt to changes.
• An entrepreneurial spirit combined with operational skills to ensure self-directed projects and ideas are successfully executed.
