
Operation and Maintenance Engineer – Field Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.
• Perform preventive maintenance on installed systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, ranging from fault diagnosis to repair.
• Manage the lifecycle of essential components and perform replacements as needed.
• Oversee the procurement and delivery of spare parts.
• Confirm and document system performance post-intervention.
• Strategically plan and address complex technical challenges.
• Maintain precise service records and reports.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients in Hawaii.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor system conditions and pinpoint performance risks.
• Ensure systems function in alignment with design specifications.
• Propel continuous improvements informed by field insights.
• Spot opportunities for upgrades and service expansion.
• Facilitate technical discussions and support lifecycle service development.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Degree in mechanical, process, chemical engineering, or experience as a process technician.
• Alternatively, a Craftsmanship certificate or a Technical College degree in automation, process, mechanical, or electrical fields.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Experience in wastewater, pulp and paper, biogas, or agriculture industries is advantageous.
• Ability to work comfortably in international and multicultural settings.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Additional language skills are regarded as a plus.
• A boiler certificate or experience in operating a boiler is beneficial.
