Operating Partner – Capital Formation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and develop potential Limited Partner relationships.

• Create qualified introductions to family offices, institutional investors, fund-of-funds, corporate venture investors, and strategic capital partners.

• Assist in fundraising efforts through investor engagement, relationship cultivation, and facilitating meetings.

• Engage in LP meetings, due diligence discussions, and fundraising initiatives.

• Enhance and diversify the C10 investor network in New York City and across the nation.

• Establish connections with angel investors, venture firms, family offices, emerging managers, and industry influencers.

• Facilitate strategic introductions among investors, corporate entities, founders, and portfolio companies.

• Represent C10 Labs at venture, startup, and technology events, fostering long-term engagement.

• Identify alliances that can broaden the firm's reach, capital base, and visibility.

• Introduce connections that aid in the growth and commercialization of portfolio companies.

• Contribute to wider platform and ecosystem development initiatives.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in venture capital, fundraising, investor relations, business development, private markets, or strategic partnerships.

• A successful history of establishing and finalizing corporate or strategic partnerships.

• An extensive network across investors, corporates, founders, and operators.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.

• An entrepreneurial and self-motivated work ethic.

• Previous experience as a founder, venture partner, or leader in corporate development.

• Experience in supporting venture fundraising or capital formation activities.

• Existing connections with LPs, family offices, corporate venture divisions, or strategic partners.

• A genuine interest in artificial intelligence, deep technology, and venture creation.
