This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Lead and manage the implementation, optimization, and support activities of OpenLMIS.
• Assist in system configuration, customization, testing, rollout, and post-deployment support.
• Convert user, business, and Ministry of Health requirements into actionable technical specifications and implementation strategies.
• Oversee integration planning with relevant national health information systems and interoperability platforms.
• Ensure that country customizations align with OpenLMIS Core architecture and standards to uphold system scalability and upgradability.
• Act as the main technical point of contact between government officials, implementation partners, developers, and support teams.
• Facilitate communication and operational alignment between technical and programmatic stakeholders.
• Manage issue triage, escalation, troubleshooting, and resolution across helpdesk and development teams.
• Aid in governance, implementation planning, and sustainability initiatives for OpenLMIS.
• Supervise and mentor Helpdesk Officers, including workload distribution, escalation support, and performance evaluation.
• Enhance helpdesk and support processes, encompassing ticket tracking, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Promote end-user adoption through technical guidance and structured support frameworks.
• Organize and conduct user training sessions and disseminate program updates to subnational stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation, guidance materials, and user support resources.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and capacity building for government and partner teams.
• Monitor implementation progress, risks, dependencies, and support issues.
• Provide regular technical and operational updates to VillageReach and relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and strategic planning for the long-term sustainability of the system.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Public Health, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in supporting digital health systems, eLMIS/HIS platforms, or enterprise software implementations.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical coordination or management positions, including oversight of support or technical teams.
• Proven experience in:
• - System implementation and rollout
• - Requirements gathering and technical documentation
• - Helpdesk and support management
• - Stakeholder coordination with Ministries of Health and partners
• - Issue escalation and technical troubleshooting
• - Strong understanding of digital health ecosystems and interoperability concepts.
• Experience with OpenLMIS is highly preferred; familiarity with systems such as DHIS2, OpenMRS, and ERP/WMS platforms is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in donor-funded or public health supply chain programs is preferred.
