This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.
• Oversee the execution of architecture across ongoing defense programs from the planning stage to delivery.
• Collaborate directly with mission partners, program offices, and industry stakeholders.
• Convert mission requirements into actionable system and integration strategies.
• Propel progress in uncertain environments and guarantee successful delivery outcomes.
• Define modular system architectures, interface strategies, and integration methods.
• Assess vendor solutions and their technical assertions.
• Transform open architecture principles, such as MOSA and related frameworks, into actionable implementation plans.
• Identify and bridge gaps between policy intentions and actual system execution.
• Record and document architecture strategies, frameworks, and lessons learned.
• Contribute to the development of internal platforms, including initiatives in distributed manufacturing.
• Assist in the creation of repeatable models for open architecture implementation across various programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or defense-related systems or programs.
• Background in systems architecture, systems engineering, or systems integration.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex workstreams in uncertain environments.
• Experience collaborating across technical teams, program leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Current eligibility for Secret personnel security clearance, verifiable through the appropriate government system.
• Capability to maintain the necessary clearance eligibility and access.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Preferred: Experience with open architecture or modular systems (MOSA, OSA, FACE, SOSA, etc.).
• Preferred: Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes or program office environments.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting logistics, sustainment, or distributed systems.
• Preferred: Exposure to supply chain integration or manufacturing systems.
• Availability during core business hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time (HST).
