Online Visiting Professor, Computer-Aided Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer-Aided Design.

• Support student learning in alignment with DeVry University standards.

• Create course syllabi and lesson plans.

• Prepare, organize, and update course materials on a regular basis.

• Utilize online technologies and course-related software, such as websites, email, and online discussions.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

• Communicate course objectives, assignment deadlines, and evaluation criteria.

• Ensure assessments are consistent with course objectives.

• Prepare and grade examinations in a fair and consistent manner.

• Provide prompt feedback to students.

• Incorporate responsible AI technologies into the teaching and learning process.

• Identify, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate use of AI tools by students.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree is required.

• 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant subject area.

• Unofficial graduate-level transcripts must be submitted with the application.

• The degree must be conferred by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an equivalent internationally accredited institution.

• Additional qualifications may be necessary due to state licensing or accreditation requirements.

• Expertise in the subject matter is essential.

• Excellent communication skills are required.

• A commitment to ongoing professional growth in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.

• Ability to satisfactorily perform all essential job duties.
