Online STEM Teacher – Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct 25-minute, one-on-one online English lessons for children aged 5–12.

• Present engaging lessons utilizing Nao Now's structured curriculum.

• Integrate age-appropriate STEM concepts and real-world examples into discussions when suitable.

• Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and confident English communication skills.

• Create a fun, supportive, and interactive learning atmosphere.

• Provide constructive feedback on lessons after each class.

• Maintain a professional, energetic, and encouraging presence on camera.

• Commit to a consistent teaching schedule each week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native English speaker.

• Bachelor’s degree or evidence of current enrollment in a bachelor’s program.

• Academic background in one or more STEM disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, STEM/STEAM Education, or related fields.

• Experience working with children aged 5–12.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Friendly, engaging, and energetic teaching approach.

• Reliable wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 60 Mbps.

• A quiet, professional teaching environment.

• Headset, preferably noise-cancelling.

• Minimum of 10 teaching hours per week.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM KST.

• Minimum commitment of 3 months.

• Consistent weekly availability required.

• Stable wired Ethernet connection is essential.

• Computer recommended to be less than five years old.

• Professional, distraction-free workspace needed.
