Online Science Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, organize, and implement a tailored learning experience for students in an online setting.

• Contribute to school-wide programs aimed at enhancing teaching and learning.

• Collaborate with fellow instructional staff and school personnel to support the academic plans of students.

• Offer constructive and timely feedback on assignments through the Learning Management System (LMS).

• Greet new students within one business day of their enrollment.

• Assist students in setting goals and tracking their progress.

• Track and record student progress and communications in the Student Information System (SIS).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is mandatory.

• A valid State Teaching Credential is preferred but not essential.

• Teaching experience is required; experience in an online learning environment is preferred.

• Capability to learn Student Information and Learning Management Systems.

• Ability to inspire students and parents to achieve academic success.

• Competence in working with a culturally diverse student body.

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and various other technological applications.
