This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Navigate and address account challenges with customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans that align with shared priorities, product demand, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office staff to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Analyze market, competitive, territory, and cross-functional dynamics to foresee opportunities and challenges.
• Utilize territory data and market trends to extract local insights and enhance pull-through efforts.
• Lead significant customer engagements both virtually and in person.
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to tackle complex challenges.
• Work collaboratively across functions to urgently address customer needs.
• Provide real-time access support and coordinate with Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies to tailor outreach in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts and healthcare providers.
• Establish meaningful customer relationships, identify common priorities, and link customers to Novartis resources.
• Balance demand generation with strategic engagement of accounts.
• Enhance patient outcomes through clinical and account-based selling, access navigation, problem-solving, team orchestration, and omni-channel engagement.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university is required.
• Experience within the last 5 years in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams, or in comparable complex sales environments.
• Demonstrated history of consistent high performance.
• Expertise in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers.
• Strong analytical skills to seek, prioritize, and apply relevant information to resolve customer issues.
• Ethical leadership with the ability to promote ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory boundary.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geography.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: Must be recently separated from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or possess limited prior sales experience.
• Territory Account Specialist: Requires 2+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B sectors, or a similarly complex sales role within the past 5 years.
• Senior Territory Account Specialist: Requires 5+ years of experience in comparable sectors or sales roles within the last 5 years.
• Strong capability to collaborate and work cross-functionally in a matrix environment.
• Proficient in effectively communicating clinical product information.
• Preferred: Experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategies, and new product launches.
• Preferred: Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy and bill processes, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and medical outreach to healthcare providers.
• Must adhere to customer credentialing guidelines for customer-facing roles, which may include COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
