This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Accountable for marketing a newly approved oncology product to oncology practices within a designated geographic region.
• Engage in direct discussions with Oncologists, Oncology Nurses, office personnel, and pharmacists.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with Health Care Providers by providing education on our client’s oncology product, its approved indications, and the support services available for cancer patients.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain ongoing communication with physicians and key opinion leaders across the US.
• Leverage the customer relationship management system to document call records and conduct account planning.
• Ensure the delivery of a high level of expertise and customer service to all clients.
• Collaborate effectively and mobilize all relevant resources.
• Complete training to gain an understanding of the disease state and the positioning of our client’s product.
• Travel to Medical Offices and Hospitals (80%), with potential overnight travel required.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution is required - a focus in business, life sciences, or a clinical degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical sales is necessary.
• At least 1 year of experience specifically in oncology is required.
• A consistent track record of measurable/documented sales achievements is preferred.
• Proven ability to plan, analyze, and act upon sales data within a specific territory.
• Strong and persuasive communication skills with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Capability to work independently while exercising sound business judgment and discretion, as well as the ability to analyze and address territory opportunities.
• Familiarity with a Sales Force Automation (SFA) application is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of VEEVA systems is essential.
