Oncology RN, Peer Review, BMT Unit Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Perform independent, remote evaluations of cases to assess medical necessity, appropriateness, or quality of care.

• Deliver evidence-based evaluations and written conclusions in accordance with established clinical guidelines and review criteria.

• Analyze utilization review cases.

• Examine appeals and conduct hearings.

• Assess quality-of-care and standard-of-care issues.

• Maintain clinical integrity, neutrality, and objectivity.

• Operate independently in a secure remote setting.

• Adhere to review turnaround deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently practicing in the field of Oncology.

• Possess an active, unrestricted U.S. license/certification as a Registered/Licensed professional.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the specialty.

• Actively practicing with patient interactions averaging at least 20 hours per week.

• Exhibit strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capable of reviewing cases impartially and meeting turnaround timelines.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a secure, remote environment.

• Ability to sit, read, work on a computer, and view a computer screen for prolonged periods.

• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, kneel, or crouch.
