This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Perform independent, remote evaluations of cases to assess medical necessity, appropriateness, or quality of care.
β’ Deliver evidence-based evaluations and written conclusions in accordance with established clinical guidelines and review criteria.
β’ Analyze utilization review cases.
β’ Examine appeals and conduct hearings.
β’ Assess quality-of-care and standard-of-care issues.
β’ Maintain clinical integrity, neutrality, and objectivity.
β’ Operate independently in a secure remote setting.
β’ Adhere to review turnaround deadlines.
β’ Currently practicing in the field of Oncology.
β’ Possess an active, unrestricted U.S. license/certification as a Registered/Licensed professional.
β’ Have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the specialty.
β’ Actively practicing with patient interactions averaging at least 20 hours per week.
β’ Exhibit strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Capable of reviewing cases impartially and meeting turnaround timelines.
β’ Comfortable working autonomously in a secure, remote environment.
β’ Ability to sit, read, work on a computer, and view a computer screen for prolonged periods.
β’ Ability to occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, kneel, or crouch.
