This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide compliant, non-promotional education on polycythemia vera and, upon approval, essential thrombocythemia to nurses, advanced practice providers, and office staff.
• Deliver clinical education regarding treatment objectives, patient selection principles, administration considerations, monitoring parameters, and ongoing care requirements for patients with PV and ET.
• Assist healthcare practices in comprehending symptom burden, thrombotic and bleeding risks, and other prevalent clinical factors impacting patients with MPNs.
• Train office personnel on effective methods for treatment initiation, dose adjustment, laboratory monitoring, recognition of adverse reactions, and follow-up requirements.
• Act as a reliable clinical resource to reinforce best practices in patient counseling, treatment expectations, and long-term disease management for individuals living with MPNs.
• Evaluate educational needs within community and academic oncology practices and customize compliant education to suit the roles of relevant clinical staff.
• Deliver education that facilitates the patient journey from treatment initiation through ongoing monitoring, including symptom reporting and adherence reinforcement.
• Modify educational discussions to meet the needs of various practice settings while adhering to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate compliantly with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal teams to ensure aligned and appropriate educational engagement.
• Accurately document educational activities within required systems and in accordance with company expectations in a timely manner.
• An active RN license is required; a BSN is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing, nurse education, or healthcare professional education experience is required.
• Experience in oncology or hematology is mandatory.
• Preference will be given to those with experience educating nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, and clinical staff in office settings.
• Familiarity with oncology office workflows, patient monitoring, and the practical needs of both community and academic practice environments is essential.
• A strong grasp of compliance requirements and the ability to operate effectively within non-promotional role boundaries is necessary.
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Capability to work independently, manage territory activities, and collaborate effectively across internal departments is essential.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the role is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
