This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Act as a strategic educational leader across both academic and community oncology accounts by providing proactive and reactive education using approved resources to patient care team members.
• Create a tailored educational plan based on an analysis of account dynamics and clinical insights that address the needs and challenges faced by the patient care team.
• Deliver education on the preparation and administration requirements of therapeutic agents, as well as on adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Interpret and convey important clinical education topics to various audiences using materials that have been approved for this role.
• Educate on disease state awareness, covering both clinical and operational aspects of proper patient diagnosis.
• Provide educational programs via one-on-one presentations, in-services, and other approved methods, which may include round-table discussions and podium presentations.
• Inform patient care teams about the infusion processes associated with the products.
• Employ strategic questioning and active listening to regularly document and share clinical insights.
• Attend and present clinical information at internal national, regional, and local meetings.
• Offer staff support as necessary at exhibit booths and displays.
• Assist in enhancing clinical training initiatives and improving the clinical competencies of the internal sales team.
• Collaborate with various internal functional areas related to the Oncology business, as deemed appropriate (e.g., sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, clinical value & evidence).
• Potentially provide education to patients during patient advocacy meetings using materials and messages that are tailored and approved for that audience.
• A clinical degree, including a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner.
• Master's level education is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of combined clinical experience and/or pharmaceutical sales, clinical educator, or medical affairs experience (Oncology experience is preferred).
• Experience in or supporting patients and healthcare professionals in infusion center settings, including the development and implementation of chemotherapy and biologics infusion procedures and protocols for therapy administration and patient safety monitoring is preferred.
• Exceptional communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and embrace learning.
• Demonstrated experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Awareness of evolving shifts in oncology market trends and their impacts on providers and patients.
• Successful experience working within a cross-functional team.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.
• The candidate must be able to travel 75% of the time, including overnight trips and occasionally on weekends.
• Capability to drive a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license: must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
