This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the Medical strategy and engagement plan for designated customers within the territory.

• Stay informed about relevant therapeutic areas, disease conditions, and Pfizer medications.

• Deliver therapeutic area and product information to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Act as a liaison for Medical Information and customer insights.

• Assist in the development of Medical content strategy and execute corresponding Field Medical tactics.

• Collaborate with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and other Field Medical team members.

• Provide approved medical and scientific education via live, virtual, written, telephone, and various other platforms.

• Enhance patient-centric approaches in Medical communications and deliverables.

• Identify and engage key customer segments within the designated therapeutic area.

• Address unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals in accordance with Pfizer guidelines.

• Facilitate advisory boards, coordinating with vendors as necessary, under managerial supervision.

• Manage inbound healthcare professional inquiries through the established triage process.

• Assist in identifying potential locations for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials, particularly those serving underrepresented patient groups.

• Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process.

• Foster research and therapeutic area knowledge through congress data and literature on disease states.

• Offer asset leadership.

• Clarify study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation to customers.

• Guide the territory through strategic planning, prioritization, and accountability for medical impact.

• Engage with local Patient Advocacy Groups in partnership with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical Affairs.

• Deliver actionable field insights regarding patient organizations, populations, treatment patterns, standards of care, and unmet data needs.

• Participate in Medical, therapeutic-area, and asset cross-functional committees.

• Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs leadership with clinical/professional associations and societies.

• Mentor onboarding partners, advisory board leads, and study leaders.

• Engage in special projects as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a health science is mandatory.

• A PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree is strongly preferred.

• Relevant experience is required: PharmD/PhD with 6 years, MBA/MSc with 8 years, or BA/BSc with 10 years of experience.

• Recognized subject matter expert among both internal and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts constructively.

• Capable of prioritizing and executing a large volume of projects in a remote setting.

• Ability to work within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team.

• Proven capability to lead change and adapt to organizational shifts.

• Demonstrated clinical and technical proficiency.

• Quick to adopt and utilize new digital technologies and document medical interactions.

• Must be able to operate a Pfizer company vehicle and travel by air regularly.

• Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time.

• Reasonable proximity to an airline hub city.

• Availability to work on weekends.

• Must currently reside within the territory: FL / PR.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. with any employer.

• This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.
