• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-driven sales, and clinical education.
• Position Caris as the preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Analyze opportunities within the territory and formulate strategic sales plans to meet growth targets.
• Meet or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance goals.
• Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain open lines of communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction may be compromised.
• Implement retention strategies while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with oncology clinicians and allied teams in various settings, including clinics, pathology labs, and hospitals.
• Assist physicians with ordering and interpreting the CMI platform, including access to PHI as necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide guidance on technology solutions such as portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Keep updated on molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer consultative advice on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Act as a resource regarding laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows.
• Share insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence with leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial Leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation in CRM and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Manage assigned company assets effectively.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics.
• Knowledge of billing and reimbursement processes.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applications.
• A valid driver’s license and a readiness to travel frequently.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
• Preferred: 5+ years of sales experience with a focus on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Preferred: Established relationships within oncology or pathology.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks.
• Travel is required, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
