This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-driven sales, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as a preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Analyze opportunities within the territory and formulate strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance benchmarks.
• Cultivate and sustain robust customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain open lines of communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction is compromised.
• Implement retention strategies and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Collaborate with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology laboratories, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians with the ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide advice on technology solutions such as portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Maintain a deep understanding of molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer consultative guidance regarding billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Work in conjunction with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial Leadership.
• Keep accurate CRM records and fulfill necessary administrative responsibilities.
• Manage assigned company assets effectively.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is essential.
• A strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics is necessary.
• Knowledge of billing and reimbursement frameworks is important.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities are crucial.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed environment is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is expected.
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel regularly are mandatory.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements is essential.
• A preference for candidates with over 5 years of sales experience focused on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Established relationships within oncology or pathology are preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks is advantageous.
• Travel is required, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
