
Oncology Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and promote organic growth using strategic prospecting, value-driven selling, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as the preferred or sole-source provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Assess territory opportunities and formulate strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
• Consistently meet or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance targets.
• Cultivate and sustain strong customer relationships through regular in-person engagement.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain open communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction is at risk.
• Implement retention strategies and pinpoint upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Engage with oncology clinicians and allied teams within clinics, pathology labs, and hospitals.
• Assist physicians with the ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including providing access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide guidance on technology solutions such as portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Maintain a strong understanding of molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer consultative support regarding billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Act as a resource for laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows.
• Share market trends, customer insights, and competitive information with leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial Leadership.
• Keep accurate CRM documentation and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Manage assigned company assets effectively.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is necessary.
• Strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics is essential.
• Knowledge of billing and reimbursement processes is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are a must.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is required.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly are necessary.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements is required.
• A preference for candidates with 5+ years of sales experience focused on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Established relationships in oncology or pathology are preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks is preferred.
• Travel is required, including potential evenings, weekends, or holidays.
