Onboarding Advisor, German Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Guide merchants through a comprehensive onboarding process, starting from account setup and listing launch to achieving their first verified GMV on eBay.

• Oversee activation pipelines, monitor onboarding milestones, and contribute to activation targets, velocity metrics, and performance reviews.

• Establish trusted relationships with merchants while addressing technical, operational, and compliance-related obstacles to growth.

• Utilize eBay systems and tools to record customer interactions, track onboarding progress, and support commercial objectives.

• Offer consultative assistance on marketplace growth strategies, cross-border shipping initiatives, billing setup, technical integrations, and seller lifecycle activities.

• Collaborate with Business Development teams and Vertical Managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

• Inform sellers about platform enhancements, new product launches, and best practices for the marketplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and German.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in e-commerce, account management, sales onboarding, or a related customer-facing commercial role.

• Proven track record of meeting performance targets.

• Familiarity with sales funnels, conversion metrics, activation performance, and pipeline management.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to handle multiple onboarding activities while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Competence in engaging international merchants and collaborating across diverse teams in various locations.

• Knowledge of e-commerce business models, online marketplace operations, multi-channel selling, merchant onboarding processes, and technical platform integrations.

• Robust problem-solving and adaptability skills.

• Willingness to travel as a representative of the eBay brand when necessary.
