
On and Off Premise Beer Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Seek new distribution opportunities and enhance local market presence to upsell, secure multi-SKU distribution, and improve cooler visibility and displays.
• Collaborate closely with local distributor managers and partner to align on goals and objectives, ensuring adequate product inventory while proactively addressing out-of-stock (OOS) issues.
• Deliver training to accounts regarding brand/product(s), covering ingredients, pairings, brewing processes, history, quality, and current trends.
• Uphold store shelf standards and inventory management, which includes product rotation, checking date codes, and processing restocks and reorders according to planogram standards.
• Sell-in and construct brand displays that adhere to off-premise standards.
• Implement point-of-sale (POS) programs to established standards.
• Assist in executing impactful promotions and educational presentations, both independently and collaboratively with team members, at accounts.
• Utilize online databases and systems to monitor all territory advancements.
• Foster open communication with both field teams and headquarters.
• Manage the budget and maintain records for monthly reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to all alcoholic beverage regulations.
• The physical demands of this position include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and stooping to arrange and display point-of-sale materials.
• Regularly lift and move cases of product and other items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• An Associate's Degree is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2-4 years of proven sales experience, ideally in the beer, wine, or spirits sector.
• Previous experience in retail, on-premise, or off-premise environments is advantageous.
• Experience as a Bartender, Waitress, Bar Manager, Distributor Sales Representative, etc. is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must reside in the assigned territory and have access to reliable transportation, preferably a larger vehicle.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, a registered and insured vehicle, and a clean driving record/background check is required.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned sales region is necessary.
• Ability to frequently lift and move cases of product is essential.
• Must be capable of climbing, kneeling, and stooping to arrange and display point-of-sale materials.
