
On and Off Premise Beer Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Seek out new distribution opportunities and enhance local market presence to promote upselling, achieve multiple SKU distribution, and improve cooler visibility and displays.
• Collaborate closely with the local distributor manager and distributor partners to align on goals and objectives, ensuring adequate product inventory while proactively addressing out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
• Deliver training sessions to accounts on brand and product knowledge, covering aspects such as ingredients, pairings, brewing processes, history, quality, and current market trends.
• Uphold store shelf standards and manage inventory, including product rotation, checking date codes, and processing restocks and reorders as per planogram guidelines.
• Promote and establish brand displays in alignment with off-premise standards.
• Implement POS programs to established standards.
• Support the execution of effective promotions and educational presentations, both independently and collaboratively with team members, at various accounts.
• Utilize online databases and systems to monitor all territory progress.
• Maintain transparent communication with field representatives and headquarters.
• Oversee budget management and maintain records for monthly reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to all alcoholic beverage regulations.
• An Associate's Degree is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2-4 years of proven sales experience is required, ideally in beer, wine, or spirits.
• Previous experience in retail, on-premise, or off-premise environments is advantageous.
• Experience in roles such as Bartender, Waitress, Bar Management, or Distributor Sales Representative is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
• Candidates must reside in the assigned territory and have reliable transportation, with a preference for a larger vehicle.
• A valid driver's license, along with a registered and insured vehicle and a clean driving record/background check, is required.
• Willingness to travel within the designated sales region is necessary.
• Ability to frequently lift and move cases of product is essential.
• Candidates must be able to climb, kneel, and stoop to organize and display point-of-sale materials.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays, as needed, is required.
• Administrative tasks must be managed with a focus on meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards.
