This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Troubleshoot daily project system challenges to achieve uptime objectives.
• Comprehend hourly production output targets and, if there is a risk of not meeting them, implement a corrective plan or escalate the situation.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules and conduct routine maintenance (PMs, start-up tests, etc.) on equipment, identifying when and what type of maintenance is required before escalating issues to the Operations & Maintenance Manager.
• Recognize potential problems and propose modifications or corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members, subcontractors, and various groups to enhance system performance, improve product quality, and reduce maintenance costs.
• Communicate effectively across all necessary organizational areas to resolve plant issues.
• Ensure that CMMS work orders are completed thoroughly.
• Prepare documentation essential for the procurement and utilization of materials and vendor services.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diverse project system issues such as inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, communications equipment, and more.
• Provide operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting training to operators and others as necessary.
• Assist in the development of standard operating documents for maintenance, operations, and training.
• Support project commissioning and testing by providing expert knowledge.
• Attend and engage in all assigned training sessions related to safety, environmental standards, and other designated areas.
• Oversee and supervise subcontractors.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A minimum of 2-5+ years of hands-on field experience; experience in renewable energy (such as solar, wind, or similar) is advantageous.
• NABCEP Certification is a plus.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various types of electrical machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work outside of standard daytime hours (8 am to 5 pm), including nights and weekends, to respond to emergency service or project equipment issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
