Oil & Gas Consultant – AI Discovery Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Participate in infrequent client meetings alongside Xenon7’s CEO and prospective clients in the oil and gas sector.

• Deliver expertise in oil and gas operations, digital transformation initiatives, and applications of AI technology.

• Assist in pinpointing areas where AI agents, automation, or analytics can enhance value across upstream, downstream, HSE, maintenance, production, or capital project processes.

• Facilitate discovery discussions by posing pertinent industry-specific questions and aiding in the assessment of client requirements.

• Provide internal guidance to Xenon7 regarding industry insights, client challenges, and the positioning of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience within the oil and gas sector, preferably gained from an operator, EPC, oilfield services organization, or a prominent consulting firm.

• Solid expertise in upstream, downstream, or industrial operations.

• Experience in at least two of the following domains: Predictive maintenance, HSE compliance reporting, capital project data management, field operations optimization, or production intelligence.

• Knowledge of oil and gas data systems, such as OSIsoft PI, SCADA systems, AVEVA, SAP PM, Maximo, or similar platforms.

• Practical understanding of AI, automation, machine learning, or AI agents applied to asset management, inspection workflows, or operational analytics.

• Excellent communication skills for customer engagement and confidence in discussions with senior client stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a flexible, occasional advisory role.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
